As You Wait Upon the Lord

You have been planted in fertile ground beside a broad river, where you will grow as quickly as a willow tree (Ezekiel 17:5). Your roots shall be remarkable for their toughness, size, and tenacity to live, and your roots shall readily sprout. Like a newborn baby, you shall crave the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and grow into completed salvation (I Peter 2:2). For God took you out of the womb; He has made you hope and trust in Him since you were on your mother's breasts. You were cast upon Him from your very birth; from your mother's womb He has been your God (Psalm 22:9,10).

Faith, hope, love, let everything be done in love, wait for the Lord, expect Him
Wait and hope for and expect the Lord. Be brave and of good courage.

Let everything you do be done in love (true love to God and man as inspired by God's love for you) (I Corinthians 16:14). Let your life lovingly express truth in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly. Enfolded in love, grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, even Christ the Messiah, the Anointed One (Ephesians 4:15).

Let no foul, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk ever come out of your mouth, but only speech as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God's favor) to those who hear it (Ephesians 4:29).

Behold, the Lord's eye is upon those who fear Him (who revere and worship Him with awe), who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. Your inner self shall wait expectantly for the Lord; He is your Help and your Shield. For in Him does your heart rejoice, because you have trusted (relied on and been confident) in His holy Name (Psalm 33:18-21).

Wait and hope for and expect the Lord. Be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord (Psalm 27:14). Grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) and recognition and knowledge and understanding of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Messiah. To Him be glory (honor, majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it) (II Peter 3:18)!
