Be Alert and on Guard

God has chosen you and is sending you to certain people so you can open their eyes that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness and release from their sins and a place and portion among those who are consecrated and purified by faith in God (Acts 26:17-18). So, withhold not good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it (Proverbs3:27). Whatever you can find to do to help anyone, do it.

God did not give you a spirit of timidity, but He has given you a spirit of power, of love, and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control (II Timothy 1:7). You are not to live your life powered by your feelings and emotions and circumstances around you, but by every word that comes to you through God’s Word and His Holy Spirit Who lives in you. You’re to live a life of purpose and power, joy and peace. You are to live your life for Christ.

God has chosen you, be alert, stand firm, be courageous, the Word of God is alive, spirit of power, love, calm & well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control, II Timothy 1:7, open your mouth and He will fill it

So, be alert and on your guard, stand firm in your faith. Be courageous and grow in strength (I Corinthians 16:13). Grow in your spiritual strength by meditating on His Words. Faith comes by hearing and what is heard comes by the preaching of the message that come from the lips of Christ (Romans 10:17). So, never forsake the reading and hearing of God’s Word. That is where you will find strength, revelation, power, encouragement; for every scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, and for training in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action (II Timothy 3:16).

For the Word that God speaks is alive, and full of power making it active, operative, energizing and effective. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breadth of life and the spirit and of the deepest parts of your nature, exposing and shifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of your heart (Hebrews 4:12). And His Word will not return void, but it will accomplish that which He pleases and purposes and it shall prosper in the thing for which He sent it (Isaiah 55:11).

So, allow Him to use your voice to minister to the needs of others. Open your mouth and He will fill it (Psalm 81:11). And, see the mighty things He will do through you. Your mouth shall tell of His righteous acts and of His deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is more than you know. Go in the strength and with the mighty acts of the Lord God; mention and praise His righteousness, His alone. He has taught you from your youth, and you shall declare His wondrous works. Yes, even when you are old and gray-headed, God shall keep you alive, until you have declared His mighty strength to this generation, and His might and power to all that are to come (Psalm 71:15-19).
