God has created you for greatness...greatness in showing His faithfulness and love....
Since you are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, strip off and throw aside every unnecessary weight and that sin which so readily clings to and entangles you, and run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before you, looking away from all that will distract to Jesus (Hebrews 12:1,2a). Come and like a living stone, be yourself built into a spiritual house, for a holy dedicated priesthood, to offer up those spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ (I Peter 2:5).
Be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind (having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude). And, put on the new nature created in God's image, in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4:23,24). Be strong in the Lord (be empowered through your union with Him); draw your strength from Him (that strength which His boundless might provides). Put on God's whole armor, that you may be able successfully to stand up against all the strategies and the deceits of the devil (Ephesians 6:10,11).
Be well-balanced, be vigilant and cautious at all times, for that enemy of yours, the devil roams around like a lion roaring in fierce hunger, seeking someone to seize upon and devour. Withstand him; be firm in faith against his onset – be rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined (I Peter 4:8).
May your Lord create in you a clean heart and renew a right, persevering and steadfast spirit within you (Psalm 51:10). Wait for Him and He shall change and renew your strength and power; you shall lift your wings and mount up close to God as eagles mount up to the sun; you shall run and not be weary; you shall walk and not become tired (Isaiah 40:31).
For the Name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe, high above evil and strong (Proverbs 18:10). Be strong, alert, and courageous, says the Lord, for I am with you (Haggai 2:4a). Arise, for it is your duty. Be strong and brave and do what the Lord has called you to (Ezra 10:4).
Be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure (to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election, for when you do this, you will never stumble or fall (II Peter 1:10). But, the Lord will stand by you and strengthen you, so that through you the Gospel message might be fully proclaimed (II Timothy 4:17).
