Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. Let your eyes look right on with fixed purpose and let all your ways be established and ordered right (Proverbs 4:23-27). Confess and praise the Lord for He is fearful and wonderful and for the wonder of your birth! Wonderful are His works and THAT your inner self knows right well (Psalm 139:14). The Lord has done so many wonders and you are one of His greatest!
Seek the Lord with all your heart. Know Him. Be zealous to know Him (Hosea 6:3). Know what His voice sounds like so that you will always know the right way to go. For He walks on before you and you shall follow Him because you know His voice. You shall never on any account follow a stranger, but you shall always follow the voice of your Lord and Savior (John 10:4-5).
As you grow older and no longer need milk for your spiritual growth, search out the Lord's wisdom. Go after the meat of God's Word, so that in time your senses and mental faculties will be trained by practice to discernment and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law (Hebrew 5:14).
For whoever observes the King's command will experience no harm, and a wise man's mind will know both when and what to do (Ecclesiastes 8:5). So, ask the Lord to give you an understanding mind and a hearing heart that you may discern between good and evil. So, that you will be able to be one who stands in the gap and helps protect not only yourself but others from harm and foolish acts. (I Kings 3:9).
You shall try all things (examine, investigate, inquire into, question and discern all things). For the Lord has given you the mind of Christ and you do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. When you hear a word, make sure it aligns with God's Word. Don't fall for the thoughts and opinions of man; but only the Word of God shall be what inspires you to move (I John 4:1).
For you have not received the spirit that belongs to the world, but the Holy Spirit Who is from God, given to you that you might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts of divine favor and blessings so freely and lavishly bestowed on you by God (I Corinthians 2:12-16) . There are so many voices in this world. You must follow hard after God's voice. You must stay straight on the path He leads you. Don't look to the right or left, but stay steadfast for Him and all that He is and all that He declares.
Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. Let your eyes look right on with fixed purpose and let all your ways be established and ordered right (Proverbs 4:23-27).
